Pumpkin Pecan Pie Topping


1  cup finely chopped pecans
1  teaspoon vanilla extract
2  teaspoons maple syrup
1/2  cup packed dark brown sugar
pinch salt
1 pouch of Pure Dark Rounds (your choice of flavor)


  1. Mix all ingredients, except Pure Dark Rounds, in a small bowl
  2. 10 min before the end of bake time for your pumpkin pie, take pie out and scatter Pure Dark Rounds on top
  3. Sprinkle pecan mixture on top of rounds and put back in oven for the final 10 min of baking
